The 89th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 21 and 22 August this year celebrates rejuvenation, with the introduction of a Hypercar class.
Quite rightly, the high-performance, stylish machines in the new category take centre stage on the 2021 race poster.
Devised to depict speed and to evoke the distinctive day/night aspect of the world-famous race, the understated 2021 poster design leaves the limelight to the spectacular cars.
Next year’s poster for the 24h was revealed on Nov 27th.
Not very exciting from my point of view.
Only a few days left before the real start of the super season and the first race in Spa.
Having seen the cars earlier this month at the prologue in Le Castellet, I am really looking forward to see if the Toyotas will have an advantage on the privateers LMP1. I am also looking forward to the newcomer BMWs in LMGTE Pro. The whole LMP 2 field is also exciting as usual.
Anyway this is always exciting as this is the real race conditions before Le Mans 24h in June. And as we all know, nothing is comparable to Le Mans.
